Sound Bath with gentle movement and Yoga Nidra
Ceri collaborates with Simon Cameron from Sound Healing Adventure to bring
Gentle Movement, Yoga Nidra & Immersive Sound Bath in York
Step out of the rush and drop into deep, restorative quiet. This signature session combines mindful movement, systematic conscious rest, and resonant sound to calm your mind and reset your nervous system.
A Sanctuary for Your Nervous System
When everyday life feels fast and demanding, our bodies store that noise as physical tension and mental fatigue. This gentle, multi-layered experience is designed to guide you step-by-step out of your busy head and back into a state of ease. Whether you are seeking deep nervous system rest or simply need a quiet hour to reset, you are warmly welcomed here.
The Three-Part Journey
-
1. Slow, Grounding Movement: We begin with effortless, floor-based or seated in chair movement and gentle stretches to unravel physical tightness, ease joint stiffness, and quiet the day's chatter.
-
2. Guided Yoga Nidra: Resting comfortably on your mat/chair, you will be guided through Yoga Nidra ("yogic sleep") a effortless body-scan technique that settles your brain waves into the deeply restorative space between waking and sleep.
-
3. Immersive Sound Bath: As you lie in total comfort, acoustic frequencies from the gong, singing bowls, and gentle instruments wash over you. The vibration helps soothe your nervous system, allowing lingering thoughts to float away.
