Community Drumming Circles?

Come together. Find the rhythm. Have some fun.

You don't need to be musical.

You don't need to have drummed before.

And you don't need to be spiritual.

Our community drum circles are relaxed, welcoming gatherings where we come together to experience the simple joy of rhythm, music and connection.

Pick up a drum, find a rhythm and see where it takes you.

No experience necessary. Everyone is welcome.

How Do They Work?

We begin by settling into the space and getting comfortable with our drums.

I'll guide you through some simple rhythms and exercises before we bring them together as a group.

From there, the rhythm develops naturally.

There might be moments of energetic, lively drumming.

There might be quieter moments.

There might be laughter.

And sometimes the whole group falls into a rhythm together without even thinking about it.

There is no right or wrong way to drum.

You don't have to be good at it.

You just have to give it a go.

🥁 It's about connection

There's something quite special about making music together.

You don't need words.

You don't need to perform.

You simply listen, respond and become part of the rhythm around you.

Community drumming can be a wonderful way to:

  • meet new people
    • enjoy some time away from everyday life
  • express yourself through rhythm
  • experience the energy of drumming together
  • laugh and have fun
  • simply be part of a welcoming community
